Marriott Hotels Orlando Airport

Marriott Hotels Orlando Airport

Marriott Hotels Orlando Airport
7499 Augusta National Drive, Orlando, FL 32822

We also won this hotel by bidding on priceline for a great price. After reading some reviews I was a bit concerned, but we were very happy with the stay. We were returning after a week on Anna Maria Island and just needed a close airport hotel.
The people at the desk were very friendly at check-in as was the valet outside. Thanks to tripadvisor I knew that parking was extra (something I would not have known coming in cold) but we just returned the rental and used the free shuttle to bring us back to the hotel.
The room use nice and very quiet for a good night's rest. The bath and bodyworks soaps and shampoos very nice.
In the morning we did decide to eat in the hotel, expensive but everyone was very friendly and the food was good. There was no trouble getting the shuttle to the airport and again, the driver fun and friendly.
So maybe previous complaints about rude service did some good because we found every staff member to be polite and professional.
I would not be unhappy if we got this property again on priceline.

The hotel is located about 5 minutes drive from the terminal of Orlando International Airport. This is an 8-storey building that has multiple conference rooms, restaurant and bar. To relax you can visit the small fitness center and pool. The Marriott has its own car park for hotel guests, but this involves extra costs: you pay $ 10 per day + Tax.

I was several times in recent weeks in the hotel and had both the king-size beds or two queen-size beds in my room. " Both rooms are large enough. When the king has variants in addition to one chair or a stool available.

Otherwise, the rooms are equipped with a wardrobe (for a person depending on length of stay, enough for two people a little small), a chest of drawers with additional storage space, a large flat screen TV, desk and said chair / chair with footstool and side table. The rooms are air conditioned and the control of the air conditioning on an individual basis. An ironing board plus iron is stored in the closet.

The bathroom is large enough and offers good storage space. It is equipped with a low bath. Furniture and flooring well maintained, I have found in my room only small signs of wear. The aforementioned pool is partly in the building and partly in the open - you can swim from inside to outside. Towels are in the interior of the pool provided free of charge. The outside area is laid out quite nice and equipped with deck chairs.

Internet: There is the possibility in the room, via LAN or WLAN to access the Internet. But Marriott would like to see a double digit amount! However, one can go free in the lobby with his notebook. As there different and also quite well-designed seating is, this is definitely an option. There is also a business center, where PCs, printers are, etc.. The use is also free.

In the lobby there are two computer terminals that you can use the online check-in and boarding pass printing. In the immediate vicinity of two large screens are attached that show the Ankunfts-/Abflugdaten. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I felt every time well looked after.

In-room safes are unfortunately not available. However, you can rent free in a safe-deposit boxes at reception. The boxes have different sizes. In the larger one can easily accommodate a 10 "notebook. The young are very long, but narrow - Documents must be rolled a little to accommodate them.

The noise due to its proximity to the airport has not bothered me. The rooms are very well soundproofed, so that a sensitive man is not sure too much notice of the aircraft. Outside the pool, they are of course heard much louder, also take the noise of cars on the available near 528 (Beach Line Expressway) is true.
