Before we arrived, I was leery as there were some bad reviews on this hotel and I was nervous about what we would arrive to. We are here now and I can't figure out what the bad reviews are talking about. This hotel is wonderful. We are in a standard room and it is quite large with a lovely balcony, small kitchen area with sink, glassware, fridge and microwave. There is also a small sitting area. The best part about this hotel is that it is pet friendly. We are here with our small dog and would stay here again. The beach is right outside and the pool area is great. The resort is very spacious with many lovely little nooks with seating area. There is a nice small "market" where you can order food to go or get basics (chips, candy). Hilton Head is beautiful and this resort is too. We would come back for sure. Oh and the bedding is lovely- none of those dirty old hotel bed covers- there is a down comforter and the beds are great!
This resort was everything we could have asked for. The grounds were so lush and gorgeous. The hotel had plenty of parking, was right on the beach, had fountains, flowers, animals, one adult pool and one child's pool, and so much more. Our room was huge! We were able to make lunch in the kitchenette and spend money on nice dinners. Our balcony overlooked the pool which was lovely. There was a health club with saunas and a full spa. I recommend Fiesta Fresh mexican restaurant (in the same mall as Sam's Club on Dillon Rd). The resort restaurant HH Prime was very good, if a bit pricey. Hilton Head is such a beautiful place; we can't wait to go back. The Buoy Bar made an excellent drink called the Dark and Stormy. It was dark rum and ginger beer. So delish!
