My husband and I stayed here from the 18th to the 23rd of December. I'd always wanted to go to New York at Christmas and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent location for all of the major sights. The lady at the front desk was lovely and allowed us to check in early. The room was much bigger than I was expecting after reading the comments on here, and everything was very clean and in order. The bed was most comfortable and we slept like babies every night. Yes there was some traffic noise (we were on the 14th floor) but you're in New York; the city that never sleeps. Besides, after all of the sightseeing it didn't keep us awake.
A special thank you must go to Edwin the conceirge who helped us to locate a few places we wanted to see, and who also recommended and arranged a table for us at a jazz club in Greenwich Village (Garage) which was amazing.
Across the road there's a good little Deli (Longwood I think it was called) where you can get a bagel with lox for $2.50.
One small gripe is that due to a late flight we needed to leave our luggage at the hotel in order to be able to look around. Each bag at left luggage was charged at $2, and with extra Christmas purchases this proved quite expensive. I've never heard of a 4 star hotel doing this before. But this wouldn't stop me from staying here again.
All members of staff that we encountered were very friendly, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an excellent location in comfortable surroundings.Lets come to Radisson Lexington Hotel in Newyork
